Our client Schawk created BrandSquare, an online community where marketing professionals can get high-value industry information and network with each other and experts. Membership in BrandSquare provides access to the community site which includes: aggregated marketing/branding content from across the industry; access to Live Session, which are webinar presentations provided by industry experts; targeted video content; and a discussion forum.
Symmetri saw great opportunity with BrandSquare and was eager to collaborate. Their community approach needed to be reinvigorated and its members reengaged in order to convert new members and drive valuable participation and discussion. With that in mind Symmetri and Schawk got to work.
Symmetri revamped BrandSquare’s engagement assets by redesigning the daily email, integrating display cross-promotion across Schawk web properties to drive Live Session registrations, and developing a Live Session landing page to collect referrals from email and social media links and further push membership. By amplifying BrandSquare’s content strategy through a more consistent Twitter effort, and by employing a new and consistent tagging structure to make content more searchable and thus easier to find, BrandSquare achieved higher engagement with both current and potential members and resulted in a spike in conversions.
